CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT

TO CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT

  1. Go to the Accounts Command Centre
  2. Choose Accounts List
  3. Select the appropriate account category (Assets, Liabilities, etc)
  4. Choose the New button
  5. In the account Profile window section select the relevant button for either Header or Detail type of account
  6. Choose the appropriate Account Type (e.g. Bank, Accounts Receivable, Other Current Asset, Fixed Asset, Other Asset, etc)
  7. Type the desired Account Number
  8. Tab and type the Account Name
  9. Click the Details tab
  10. Enter additional account Description details (optional)
  11. Select an appropriate default Tax CodeIf creating an actual bank/cheque account, follow these steps:

     

  12. Click the Banking tab
  13. Enter the BSB Number, Bank Account Number, Bank Account Name, and Company Trading Name
  14. Click OK
