Entrepreneur magazine interviewed a number of young entrepreneurs who were struck by unexpected, and often brutal, crises just as they were getting their businesses off the ground. They came away with some advice on how to survive a crisis. First, look to your network for support. Second, while it’s important to set the goals, the day-to-day focus has to be on baby steps. And finally don’t be afraid to change course. Sometimes it’s important to recognize the need to change pace after a crisis.
