SALES/INVOICE LAYOUT
There are five choices for ‘layouts’ of sales and invoices:
- Service – a free-form text invoice used for service-type sales
- Item – used only for the sale of Items contained in your Inventory Items List
- Professional – similar to a Service invoice, but with an additional date column provided
- Time Billing – used to bill for time spent on customer activities. Ideal for professional and consulting businesses
- Miscellaneous – mostly used to record bulk sales where no invoices need to be produced
Note: Item and Service sales cannot be combined on the same invoice.
To select the desired sales layout:
- Go to the Sales Command Centre
- Choose Enter Sales
- Click the Layout button
- Select Layout
- Click OK
