All of us at MJ Accountants would like to thank our valued Clients for their support during 2011. Each and every one of you make our jobs a pleasure, and without you we wouldn’t have the successful business we do.
This success has been recognised and celebrated during the 2011 year. In March we underwent a CPA Quality Assurance audit where our practices were reviewed for adherence to CPA’s stringent quality guidelines. We were very happy to have passed this with a Rating 1 – the highest possible standard. So, our Clients can rest assured that they are receiving quality advice at the highest standard.
We have also made our mark on becoming a ‘greener business’, implementing a paperless office system since 1 July 2011. As a part of this we have been continually assessing and improving our systems and equipment to make the office more efficient and productive.
As part of our aim to keep innovating, be proactive, efficient and productive we have been continuing with training for continuous improvement. During this year 5 staff members have completed LMA courses. Another two will commence in February 2012.
It hasn’t all been nose to the grind stone though. We let our hair down and, like most other Coffs people, took the day off to go to the Coffs Cup. Self catering our own little marquee a great day was had by all (and a few sore heads ensued the day after).
Celebration of our success came again in September, when Melanie Jenkins won the Sunny’s Business Woman of the Year. A wonderful acknowledgement of Melanie’s growth of the business, dedication to Clients and staff, and involvement in various charitable undertakings.
Not to be outdone, Kristy Zander joined the 2010 ranks of Tracy Clarke and Melanie Jenkins, with a Pride of Workmanship Award in November.
We have also welcomed Alana Vigors and Jennifer Holman to the MJ Team.
So, while we reflect on our BIG year and re-live our triumphs, we again thank our Clients – without whom none of this would have been possible. We are all looking forward to a few weeks off over Christmas to rejuvenate and aim for new goals in 2012.
