There are five choices for ‘layouts’ of sales and invoices:

  • Service – a free-form text invoice used for service-type sales
  • Item – used only for the sale of Items contained in your Inventory Items List
  • Professional – similar to a Service invoice, but with an additional date column provided
  • Time Billing – used to bill for time spent on customer activities. Ideal for professional and consulting businesses
  • Miscellaneous – mostly used to record bulk sales where no invoices need to be produced

Note: Item and Service sales cannot be combined on the same invoice.

To select the desired sales layout:

  1. Go to the Sales Command Centre
  2. Choose Enter Sales
  3. Click the Layout button
  4. Select Layout
  5. Click OK
